乐卫东教授从事神经退行性疾病的发病机制和创新治疗研究近三十年,在Nurr1相关研究领域发表SCI收录论文30余篇,被引用超万次,这些国际领先水平的研究成果得到业内广泛关注和好评。近年来,乐卫东教授在神经退行性疾病的细胞代谢研究领域开展国际前沿工作,并取得一系列出色的成果[2-6],这些研究成果揭示了阿尔茨海默病和帕金森病的氧代谢和糖脂代谢改变及其可能的病理学调控机制,为进一步发现神经退行性疾病的发病机制和未来疾病的早期诊断和治疗提供了重要的参考。
